Having trained in-house at a UK Plc., Richard brings added commerciality to the legal analysis he provides. Richard is also Head of Trusts and Estates and Contentious Probate.
He deals with complex contractual disputes and recently acted on a partnership dispute involving assets worth £10m located in Wales, Scotland and France. Richard is also an Insolvency Practitioner and specialises in the area of technical insolvency work, acting for businesses, individuals and office-holders.
Richard has previously been Vice-Chair of the West Cheshire and North Wales Chamber of Commerce and Chair of The North Wales Chamber of Commerce and Industry and was heavily involved in promoting economic development in the region for many years. Richard is currently a trustee of Nightingale House Hospice and a non-executive director of Merseyside Special Investment Fund.
Outside of work, Richard has survived seeing his two children into adulthood, lives with the pain of being a Welsh rugby fan and takes Jack the German Shepherd on long walks in the countryside, avoiding rabbits if possible! When he gets a chance Richard also likes to ride his motorbike like he stole it!
