Laura Moore is a Solicitor in DTM Legal’s Wills, Trusts & Estates team. She joined the firm in 2023 as a Trainee Solicitor and qualified in 2025. Laura advises a diverse range of clients on private client matters, including inheritance tax planning and succession strategies.
Laura obtained her Law degree from Liverpool John Moore’s University before beginning her legal career as a Paralegal, gaining experience in motoring law, debt recovery, and credit hire. She also completed a client secondment focused on lease renewals for commercial properties. While working, Laura undertook her LPC at Liverpool John Moore’s University on a part-time basis before joining DTM Legal. During her training contract, she gained experience in Corporate & Commercial and Dispute Resolution before specialising in Wills, Trusts & Estates.
Laura assists clients with Wills, estate administration, inheritance tax planning, and succession planning to minimise tax liabilities and ensure efficient wealth transfer. She also supports clients in establishing and managing Trusts, preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney, and handling Court of Protection applications. Additionally, she works closely with DTM Legal’s Contentious Trusts & Probate team to provide support in dispute matters.
Beyond her legal practice, Laura was an active representative of the Merseyside Junior Lawyers Division for two years, organising events for junior professionals. She regularly attends Merseyside Young Professionals networking events and has been featured in DTM Legal’s Trainee Solicitor Q&A video. Laura has also represented the firm at university careers fairs, offering guidance to aspiring solicitors.
Outside of work, Laura is an avid reader, supports various charities, and enjoys spending time with friends.
