Jordan Foulkes is a Paralegal within the Dispute Resolution team at DTM Legal. He is predominantly based in DTM Legal’s Liverpool office and assists in commercial disputes and insolvency matters.
Education and Training
Jordan graduated with a First-class degree in Law from the University of Liverpool. He then went on to achieve a Distinction in his Legal Practice Course, with a Masters in Professional Legal Practice being obtained as part of this.
As part of a volunteering role undertaken by Jordan during his time at the University of Liverpool, Jordan was part of a team that were “Highly Commended” in the category of “Best contribution by a Team of Students” at the 2023 Attorney General Student Pro Bono Awards. This was a proud moment for Jordan and is a key example of his commitment to ensuring positive outcomes for clients through successful collaboration.
As part of this same position, Jordan was also presented with the “Best Contribution” award, which displays the commitment Jordan makes to achieving the best outcomes for clients.
Role within the DTM Legal Team
As a Paralegal within the Dispute Resolution team at DTM Legal, Jordan has responsibility for ensuring all relevant deadlines are complied with and for assisting in matters where necessary. Jordan has experience in a wide range of disputes, including debt recovery, contractual disputes and insolvency matters.
Within his role, Jordan has assisted in the recovery of sums pursuant to breaches of contract on behalf of clients and has experience of assisting both businesses and individuals alike. Jordan is also responsible for preparatory work for upcoming hearings and plays an important role in ensuring clients’ matters proceed successfully through the courts.
Jordan has worked on several matters progressing through the High Court and has obtained countless Judgments ready to be enforced on behalf of clients. Jordan has also successfully negotiated numerous settlement arrangements on behalf of clients, permitting swift and cost-effective resolutions to ongoing disputes.

Personal Interests and ESG
Jordan attends professional events hosted across Liverpool, including by organisations such as the Merseyside Young Professionals, in order to meet other like-minded professionals and broaden professional connections within the Liverpool community.
Jordan has previously spent two years volunteering at the University of Liverpool’s Family Law Clinic, which saw vital legal support offered to families in need who did not qualify for legal funding.
Outside of the office, Jordan is a keen cyclist and regularly completes long-distance rides – albeit British weather permitting. Jordan also plays weekly 7 a side as part of a local league and enjoys working out in the gym. Jordan also enjoys reading, with thriller novels in particular being a good read, and supporting Wrexham AFC.
