Alison Brennan, Partner advised longstanding clients, Andy and Marion Paynter on the sale of Meddyg Care Group Holdings Ltd (formerly Pines Care Home Limited) which owns and operates specialist dementia homes in Criccieth and Porthmadog.
Andy commented, ‘It was a complex deal involving a restructure immediately prior to sale and various other complications. Alison, who previously advised us when we formed a joint venture with Kevin Edwards a few years ago, understood how important this was to us, having built the business up over a number of years and spent a long time agreeing this sale. She guided us throughout the process ensuring at all times that we understood and were comfortable with the terms of the deal’.
Alison said, ‘As always, there were a number of key elements in this deal that needed to be managed within the parties desired timescales including property aspects, regulatory compliance, a third-party funder.
