Marena Mondair and the LSL team have been instrumental in arranging a fantastic Liverpool Sportswoman’s Lunch for over 300 people at Anfield, home of Liverpool Football Club. All proceeds will be donated to the NSPCC.
They are delighted to have Elinor Jane Barker, MBE speaking. She is a Welsh road and track racing cyclist, who previously rode for UCI Women’s Team Drops and is now part of Tekkerz. Representing Welsh Cycling and Great Britain in international competitions on the track, Barker is an Olympic, two-time world and six-time European champion in the team pursuit, as well as a two-time world champion in the points race and scratch race. Barker was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the 2017 New Year Honours for services to cycling.
The lunch will have a raffle and prizes for best dressed.
