DTM Legal is proud to announce that Kate Roberts, Head of Liverpool at DTM Legal, recently joined a panel of FinTech industry experts at the University of Liverpool to judge first-year Computer Science students’ commercial awareness projects. The event, which took place on the 4th March, saw students critically evaluate an existing Finance Technology such as an app or software of their choice and present their findings in the form of a digital poster.
Kate was part of a panel consisting of five FinTech professionals and industry leaders, each bringing their expertise to assess the students’ work. Beyond judging, the event will serve as a valuable networking opportunity for students to gain insights from professionals and learn more about careers in the rapidly evolving FinTech sector. Kate and the other panellists were also able to say some insights with the students into the FinTech ecosystem and the support available to those within the FinTech sector in Liverpool
