DTM Legal is proud to announce that we will be supporting Dementia UK as our Charity of the Year for 2025.
Each year, we invite our team to nominate charities that hold personal significance to them. Through this staff-led process, we are able to champion causes that resonate closely with our people and the communities we work with. For 2025, several nominations were made for Dementia UK, reflecting the personal experiences of a number of our team members whose lives have been touched by dementia.
Dementia UK provides specialist dementia support for families through their Admiral Nurse service. These nurses offer life-changing advice and guidance, helping those affected by dementia navigate the complex emotional and practical challenges that can arise. With rates of dementia continuing to rise, the charity’s work is more vital than ever, and we are honoured to lend our support over the coming year.
We have already kickstarted our fundraising efforts with some in-house activities, including a fantastic Easter bake sale and a lively office sweepstake. These events have not only raised valuable funds but have also helped to raise awareness about dementia and the support available through Dementia UK. We are looking forward to building on this strong start, with more fundraising events planned throughout the year, alongside sharing information about dementia support with both our staff and our wider community.
