DTM Legal has launched a new networking group in the North West called Changing Landscapes.
The networking group is targeted at North West, Cheshire and Liverpool business owners, landowners and farmers, and will provide insightful events offering information and advice to help navigate the current, very uncertain business environment. Changing Landscapes’ aim is to support local businesses and answer any questions they might have as they negotiate fast-evolving conditions.
Head of trusts and estates at DTM Legal highlighted: “The absence of a considered succession plan can lead to huge tax charges, enough to cripple many businesses. At the very least, you should familiarise yourself with the reliefs available and how these apply to your current arrangements so you are aware of your exposure.”
The group will be presented in collaboration with Savills.
Director at Savills, Paul Hutchinson commented: “Changing landscapes require many farm businesses to think outside of the box, and consider diversification of their assets and resources. At this event, Savills will consider the options available to land and property owners to increase capital value and income.”
