Construction Covid

The government’s current, as I type this, official line is that construction sites can keep working if operatives are able to stick to social distancing rules – workers to remain two metres apart at all times.

Setting aside the issues concerning actually traveling to and from work and maintaining the social distancing rules, can social distancing be achieved on site safely and practically.
For some sites may be, others not.

Can shift patterns be adjusted; programmed works suspended and re-programmed; material supplies be maintained or changed to suit a change of programme
Site are already shutting down, preparing to shut down, scaling back activities to allow social distancing.

Which if any can you do and still comply with your contract and any site requirements?
