DTM Legal, which opened its office in The Plaza, Liverpool, last August, now has 8 people working in its city office from a standing start and has recorded a number of major client wins. Recording a 40% increase in revenues in its first year of operation.
The firm, which is headquartered in Chester and employs 27 people there, said they had had a very encouraging first year and were now poised for further expansion.
The business is marking its first year in the city after celebrating its elevation in the Legal 500 list of top law firms in the region and increasing the number of its lawyers referenced from two to six . Two key staff have also been promoted.
Kate Roberts, who leads on Insolvency in Liverpool, has been made a Partner of the firm, and Tom Evans, a specialist employment lawyer, has been promoted to Associate.
Kate joined the firm in January this year and is a leading expert on the legal issues surrounding business recovery and insolvency. Tom, a former University of Liverpool graduate, specialises in employment law.

The firm was founded six years ago in Chester and offers a full commercial service, supporting clients across the North West and North Wales and nationally.
