At DTM Legal, we’re incredibly proud of our colleague Melissa Scott, Employment Law Solicitor and Secretary of the Merseyside Young Professionals (MYP) Committee. Melissa is assisting her fellow committee members in ensuring the success of the 2024 MYP Charity Ball. This annual event is set to be an unforgettable evening in support of a fundamental cause.
The Charity Ball will be held on October 18th, 2024, at the Delta Hotels by Marriott in Liverpool City Centre. This year, the event will raise much-needed funds for Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice, a charity that has provided care to children with life-limiting conditions and their families for nearly three decades. Zoe’s Place is currently working to raise £3.5 million to build a new home in Liverpool, and the funds raised at the ball will contribute directly to this important goal.
Melissa has been attending MYP events for several years and joined the committee in 2023. Last year’s Charity Ball raised an incredible £5,858 for Compass Counselling, and with Melissa’s involvement, we hope this year’s event can surpass this accomplishment, helping Zoe’s Place continue its life-changing work.
Several members of DTM Legal’s young professionals team will also be in attendance, showing our firm’s support for the community and this vital cause. We encourage other young professionals and businesses from across the region to join us at this fantastic event. Not only will it be a great evening of networking and entertainment, but it’s also a chance to make a real difference.
The Black Tie event starts at 6:30 pm, and guests will be welcomed with a drink on arrival before enjoying a three-course gala dinner. Tickets are £85 per person, and with the event expected to sell out quickly, we highly recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.
